Sep 29, 2023 · My router/Modem (Xfinity XB7) shows up on my desktop under the correct SSID name for WiFi, but when connected via ethernet, it still shows as XFSETUP. Additionally, it only works intermittently when connected via Ethernet, and I have tried two different ethernet cords.

Jul 9, 2021 · What I figured out was that after changing the wifi name it did indeed change the name for 2.4 5ghz channels (they are combining these into one now to avoid connection issues) but the 2.4ghz one did not change the password, only the 5ghz one changed the password.
