I did stumble across a kimber micro 9 brand new in box on GB for 500$ free shipping, I paid for it picked it up a few days after, and it has been 100 percent reliable thus far. I'm estimating 450-500 rounds in. I do not shoot it often I admit, but it feels very much like the sig as far as point of aim, trigger, even quality .

May 19, 2021 · Went to the range today and put 100 rounds thru the P938 using the Kimber 8 round mags. All three I had feed and functioned just fine and locked the slide back everytime. I used hertiers 115gr 9mm FMJ. When I get some hollow points for this gun I will give that a try with the 8 round magazines. The base plastic needs to be trimmed in order to fit the Micro 9. Went with the Micro 9. My buddy has the P938, likes it as well. The Sig has an external extractor and two-piece guide rod, but otherwise they are the same gun other than aesthetics. The guide rod is known to dismember and fly forward without warning. To me the Kimber is infinitely more attractive.

The P938 just felt like a better gun all around and that’s what I ended up buying. It’s my most often carried pistol because of its size and reliability.
