The 30S is nice but does not have any conversion barrels for the high powered rounds. LW makes a 9mm barrel for the 20 but not for the 29 or 30. If I could get a 9mm barrel to work in the 29/30 I could sell my Browning H.P. to fund most of the options I can think up! I have been looking to add a Glock 45 to my stable of Glocks. I am having a very hard time deciding between the 30 and the 30S. I know the 30 is a sweet shooter in a small package, but it is fairly hefty. All that heft does absorb recoil though. The 30s is thinner in the slide and obviously a lighter gun. I have a non rail 30, a 30SF rail tenifer, a gen 4 fpf 30, and 2 30SF's one fpf model. The 30S has quite a bit more recoil than a 30 model, and a supurb broken in glock trigger. But my 30S is still quite accurate. Have not shot the fpf 30S to compare if the one I've shot is a fluke.
